Useful information

Below are some helpful information and instructions to assist with the tenancy process.

Rent

Paying your rent

Rent payments are due in advance unless other arrangements have been agreed with us.

The first instalment of rent must be paid in cleared funds when you sign the tenancy agreement. Thereafter, rent is payable by standing order (unless agreed otherwise) to arrive on the due date as stated in the tenancy agreement.

Ways to pay your rent

By direct debit

This is a quick and simple way to pay your rent, as well as being our preferred method of payment. It allows us to take payment directly from your bank account, giving you one less thing to worry about.

If you would like to set up payment by direct debit, we will supply you with a direct debit mandate, fill it in and return it to us so we can process it. You can also call us on 07985 113 233 to set up paperless direct debit.

By internet banking

You can pay your rent directly from your bank account. You will have to give your unique rent account number as a reference to prevent any delays with the payment reaching your account.

Applying for a flat

If you decide that this flat is the one for you, then you will need to supply us with the following documents before the tenancy can proceed:

Proof of identity

  • Full Valid Passport
  • UK/EU Driving Licence (with photo ID)

Proof of residency

  • Original utility bill
  • Original bank statement
Deposit Protection

Safe Deposit

When you sign the tenancy agreement with us, you'll need to pay a deposit of four weeks' rent. This will be held for the duration of the tenancy by the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS), a government-approved third party which makes sure that tenants receive their deposit back when they are entitled to. Your tenancy agreement will outline the process and conditions for deposit return.

Maintenance & Repairs

We are committed to maintaining the property to a high standard, and you can help us by reporting repairs as soon as possible.

The quickest and simplest way to report is through our website's Contact Form.

In an emergency, call us on 07985 113 233.

Moving Out ?

Notice

Please remember that you need to let us know about your move at least four weeks in advance, so that we can process the end of your tenancy.

Use our website's Contact Form or give us a call to officially notify us you wish to move out.
